Re: Sedan Trailer Hitch
No. No trailer hitch - - yet. I asked for, and received, some information from some group members who had made and installed a hitch on their sedan or coupe.

Re: Sedan Trailer Hitch
I got a 1940's Sears Allstate trailer from my 90 year old neighbor's garage. I call it the "wacky wheel" trailer because it only has one swiveling wheel. The "hitch" is actually two "hinge" points that are permanently attached to the left and right sides of the rear bumper. So, if you can visualize it, the entire trailer swings with the vehicle body, its single wheel pivoting to accommodate turns.
Not sure this will help you guys. It works well for my purposes, small and very light. Picture is at www.evalbum.com/325

Re: Sedan Trailer Hitch
They appear a lot on a VW site I frequent, www.thesamba.com . You can go to their classifieds and simply do a search for allstate and you come up with this:
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/ ... ton=Search
You can also narrow it down by state by choosing that on the right side.
Happy New Year!

Re: Sedan Trailer Hitch
A friend built one of these. He found a pivoting wheel from a piece of farm machinery, built a mounting T-bar that went into his regular hitch reciever but gave him two pivot points at the rear of the vehicle and set it up to hinge and lock up in the air so the wheel would be off the ground when the trailer was not needed. It was made of light weight materials but could easily haul 500lbs.

Re: Can anyone help me source all of the following parts for my Z600
Good morning, I would be extremely grateful if anyone could help me source each of the following parts for my Z600 Coupe engine rebuild. I would prefer NOS parts, but would certainly consider any good used or reproduction parts.
I would be happy to pay a a fair price or to trade parts or to return the favor if anyone wishes to sell or donate any parts to this cause. I have quite a few spare parts that I would be willing to trade for the parts that I require.
I appreciate any help or advice in sourcing these necessary parts.
Thank you in advance for any help that you can provide.
Perhaps someone has a complete gasket set which would include many of these parts?
Kind regards,
Charles

Re: Can anyone help me source all of the following parts for my Z600
Hi Charles,
I'm working on a rebuild right now too. Most of those parts can be found between these two places/organizations:
http://honda600shop.com/parts.php?Category=N+%26+Z+600
http://www.honda600carparts.com/engine.html
http://www.ebay.com/usr/eagle-hd
The first two have a lot of new reproductions including complete gasket sets, complete rubber seal sets, reproduction pistons with rings, etc, etc. The 3rd has pulled used parts. The parts I've ordered from him have all been within wear limits according to manufacturer specs.
Probably the best thing to do would be order what you can from there and then post an updated list here of parts you're still looking for.
Regards,
-scott
