Finally Running

Post by lcruizerdude »

My N600 needs both of the swaybar to body bushings in the front as
well as the bushings by the wheels. I have found the two front
bushings at Mikes 600 but I'm having trouble finding the ones for the
struts? Any ideas?
Thanks,Trout

Hello Riceburner!
I have a connection that made the mold for me. The bushings are made of a rubber that is a lot like polyurethane, but not quite as hard. I can also get reproduction cooling fan bushings if any one is interested.
Thanks,
Greg

Hey Pipe, thanks for writing back.
I need all six? the two front as well as the 2 per
each wheel. There are two different ones apparently.
A set for early and a set for late chassis numbers.
Do you know which ones you have? Can you send
pictures? I guess there is a difference in the
tie-rod diameter?
Thanks, Trout

Hello Trout!
I do have the big ugly front sway-bar bushings also as reproductions. All of my bushings are for the later "fatter" sway-bar.  I am currently "test" running a full set of the bushings on my Sedan, they seem to be doing real good. I will have to check my inventory to see how many bushings I have available. I will have an accurate count later this evening.
Thanks!

Dude, I used sway bar bushings off a vw bug to replace my missing
strut bar bushings. I only had to drill out the vw bushing slightly,
then they fit perfect.

My brother did the same thing with his Honda. They did work. I decided I wanted to go more original (not that the original bushings are attractive) with my Sedan, so I looked around and found a guy that could reproduce the originals for me.

Hello Trout!
I do have one set of the lower arm bushings available. I hope to have more of the front bushings within the next few weeks.
Thanks!
