Re: CV Boot Kits
Bill how much are the Empi's and what do they normally fit? I still
have the exact replica inners for $6.00ea with grease & bands. The
outers are good fit but not exact, have sold lots of these on eBay
with no complaints, used a bunch myself too. $20.00 set of 4.
I've also been dismantling the outer CV's completely and fitting the
best parts I have to make good driveshafts. Many a time the balls are
pitted or distorted, the cages are worn out and other stuff too!
I made a press plate to dismantle crankshafts, pressed a bunch, I
will be posting the pics in Photos section asap.

Coils
You can generally use any 12v coil which has 2 leads, such as Harley,
Honda 4's with 2 coils, Yamaha 650 twin should work nicely also.

Re: Coils
Hello J.
Miles is correct in that there are other coils that will work, but if
you are not going to use your old coil, maybe you could send it to me. I
have rarely found a coil that was bad, normally it is either the leads to
the plugs or one of the other two leads (Power and distributor leads) All of
them can be replaced. Along with a cleanup and touch of paint, the look and
operate like new again.
