I went to order more of that neat-o keen-o clear braided Kuritech
Brake Fluid Resivoir Supply Hose I have been giving away with the
master cylinder rebuilds. I was told the stuff I was supplying was
Food-Grade only. If you have this stuff on your car look see if it
has turned cloudy. I put this stuff on my car back in September and
it has clouded up, it is still firm but seems to be sweating.
They gave me some other stuff as replacement but could not guaranty
it for brake fluid. Sorry for any inconvienience this may have
caused, but I recommend you removing the clear hose I supplied, don't
know yet what a good replacement is. DOT 5 users may be ok since it
is a silicone non corrosive.

Re: Brake Hose Alert
Miles-
did you ever come up with a suitable brake reservoir hose replacement?
While tearing down my master cylinder to find out why my front brakes
are sticking (bleed-back hole did appear to be plugged...) I noticed
that the two braided hoses going to the reservoir on my Coupe are
hard as a rock and should probably be replaced.
What's the word, o wise one?

Re: Brake Hose Alert
Uh, no. But the hose on Dinky is still holding. It seemed as it was
sweating through the hose, but seems fine now. I was told that clear
braided hose is only Food Grade. Did you try ordering that hose from
Honda?
