No power under load? Engine, starts, idles and revs perfectly

Post by promoter213 »

Flat land, slight incline the car moves and can build up speed shifting all the way to 4th gear.
Uphill or with a passenger it loses power?
Engine starts, idles and revs fine. But once I hit the streets it struggles under load. (hill or with passenger/s)
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

You need to bleed your brakes.

What's the relation? Funny thing is I just rebuilt mc, so maybe I need to bleed it more.

Check your timing. Might be a bit retarded.

That's what I was thinking as well. Anyone know where I can get info on proper gap and timing adjustment?
Thanks Bob, Eric, Brad.
