is there any way to monitor oil pressure on a Honda z600?

As Don said there is lots of flow and at idle the pump is pushing all the oil in the engine through it every minute.  There are several ways of connecting a oil pressure gauge to the engine.
The one I use is on the remote filter.
It gives you an outlet for both pressure and temperature of the oil.
I see zero PSI at idle or 1100 RPM’s after the engine is warmed up.
At 3000 RPM’s there is about 9 or 10 PSI, which seems to be the max I get to 6000 RPM’s.
With a brand new oil pump, rod and housing there was 30 PSI at idle, but that only lasted for about a week.
But ask anyone that left the oil fill cap off his Honda 600 engine and started it up how much oil is pumping…
