sun visors
Hi Guy,
I have a '72 Honda 600 coupe.
The two interior sun visors from the inside of the car are still holding up, but the plastic mountings are cracking. Since the visors are dirty, I am thinking about swapping the whole set out.
If I don't buy original 600 visors, does anyone know if other visors from other smaller cars might fit? Thanks.

Ouch! Howard, where are these genuine visors, and who is selling them? Actually maybe Ray Cave has something...
Johnny, maybe a tube of glue and a can of Comet can fix your visor woes. If your set to replace them anyway it can't hurt to give it a try.
Someone on ebay has got them but they may or may not be better than yours.

Exactly!! Because they are so available right? Hell, I must have seen a dozen at the local autoparts store yesterday.

Put SUV visors in it, it will probably block half the windshield

Hold it,,,,
There are some Coupe visors that are still in good shape. If dirty, use SEM Vinyl paint and also, remember that late visors for the coupe didn't have plastic on the hinges. If you purchased them from Honda, they didn't have plastic on them. So, clean the cracking old plastic off. If you still want plastic, use dinaglass or fiberglass to build it back up. There are tons of options.

Thanks to everyone for their input.
Howard,
Everyone is different. You can't judge that they are fools just because they choose to fix their OWN cars differently. Lighten up and don't hate. We have enough haters in this world. Honda 600 owners show love to each other.

Re: sun visors
I don't think Howard meant to be a hater. In summary, he was pointing out the fact that it is impossible to source a genuine 600 part. With that said; he's still a PINHEAD for using the word FOOL. Now, Howard, go to your room and find the definition of FOOL from your little webster dictionary.

Re: sun visors
I do agree. remember the add with the orange car and all the girls around it.. "The less you spend on a car, the more you can spend on other things" lol. some of us may not have the funds to spend on genuine honda parts. luckily I am tall enough that I dont need sun visors, plus I where a hat. But it is the one thing I dont have yet.
