This is easy as making pie, really. A few hours is a bit of an exaggeration, it normally takes me 35 minutes to pull a Honda 600 motor, and another hour or so to have the engine in parts and ready to reassemble.
I have some pictures on the http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/anzhonda600owners/ site and in the photo albums titled "Removing your Honda 600 power plant" it gives some suggestions on how to proceed. All you need is a length of wood hand rail, some rope and a come-a-long to hoist the front end of your Honda 600 off the engine/sub frame. Then just pull it out from under the car and work on it. Going back is just as easy.
