Just thinking about Bill C and the other members who live in San Diego and southern California. Let's hope the fires currently burning there steer clear of all of them.

Thanks for the kind words. There are a few million homes down here, and only 1200 burned, and so far only one persone lost his life. I just hope the insurance companies and owners do what they are supposed to do and get things back on track. There are still homes not built from the 2003 fires, kind of makes you wonder.
My lawn and driveway is full of ash as are the streets. Skys are dark during the day and the nights are a-glow all around us. I have not been told to evacuate yet. So we wait and look for protected parking close to the ocean.
