One of my sponsors said Evil Tweety made it onto Speed Channel. I
think (but am not sure) that it's the American Muscle Car show on
Bonneville - airs again this Friday at 9:30 AM -
http://www.speedtv.com/programs/172/
I could be wrong . . . but if you've got DVR space add it to your
record list if interested!
And again I want to throw out a big thank you to the folks on this
list and the 2cylinderhondas list for all the information and help -
both lists and the people on them have played a big part in this car.
I've lost track of all the parts and tips I've sourced through all of
you!

Evil Tweety on Speed Channel?
Re: Evil Tweety on Speed Channel?
Hi Eric, yes I saw you doing our 99+ MPH on the speed channel, you are nuts, I think its great what your doing, but I still think your nuts. I keep mine at roughly 70 and that is some times to fast. 99+ has got to be a hoot.
All the luck and keep charging that 100 MPH window.
Bill

Re: Evil Tweety on Speed Channel!
Thanks Bill! I do have to say though I'm more uncomfortable at 70 on
the freeway in traffic than going 95+ on the salt. In Bonneville
there isn't anything real big that can run you over . . . and you've
got lots of room around you. (Of course the 600's don't take up that
much of a lane on the freeway . . . ;-)
The coverage was a real complement. There are a lot of spectacular
cars out there, and for the Honda to get that much air time was really
cool.
BTW - your oil filter system has been an important part of our effort.
Been running it since day 1! You might get contacted by another
group of fellows that are building a coupe to compete with Evil
Tweety. Still have the systems for sale? Let me know and I'll send
your contact info their way.

Re: Evil Tweety on Speed Channel!
I'm curious. Why is your car uncomfortable at high speed? I drive my little 600 sedan at 65 to 70mph on the freeway and it seems quite comfortable at that speed.
I've had to stop driving it though as the oil leak I've developed has gotten pretty bad. I''m hoping I'll be able to get a good engine out of the 3 cars I'm working on buying hopefully next week.

high speeds. The joke I use is "this car is so small it should come
with a funeral wreath."
When traffic is moving with even space, it's fine. When things get
tight but are still moving fast I just start to feel a little closed
in. Even with the roll cage and harness, that steering wheel feels
pretty darn close . . .

Hi Eric;
Yes, the set up is so simple, can't see why all Honda 600 owners don't switch. Which filter are you using?

Re: Evil Tweety on Speed Channel!
Ah, yes. I understand now. It can be a little scary when surrounded by larger vehicles. I sometimes have people fly up behind me and then stop suddenly. It's given me the willies a couple of times. ;o)
