weatherstripping/moulding/paint n600 sedan

Post by Kevin S »

Hi everyone,
I haven't taken apart my weatherstripping yet and don't completely understand
the structure...heres are my questions,
are the metallic/plastic parts reusable when re-installing the rubber parts?
(I was looking at the parts list and the diagram and wondering just how many parts
I need to obtain to complete the weatherstrip renewal). There are some 'moulding' parts (plastic parts?) and I am not sure if I need those in addition to the rubber parts? anybody replace theirs before?
also, I would like to repaint my car but I can't afford to have it stripped and sanded inside and out, so, I was going to take it to earl scheib/premium paint package. Does anyone have experience with this
area? The car is navy blue in/out and I want to paint it a much lighter color like beige or yellow, but the interior...what can I do about it?
Kevin (LA, CA)

Hi Keven;
I use a Mylar Chrome strip as a replacement for the Sedan front and rear and Coupe front windshield seals.  Contact me at billmyong@...
for availability and price.

Bill, honda 600 shop referred me to you for parts.
I have centerline wheels that are thicker than the factory spec
wheels and while I rather like them (for stability),
I would like to look around for original wheels.
Do you have some in excellent structural condition, but not necessarily
looking great..and how much.

All of the wheels I would sell need to be sand blasted and powder coated.  Air is H2O, it has water in it and all the rims corrode (Rust) and until the old tire is removed, who knows what they look like.
Old rims with the tires still on them are $10.00 each + shipping.
