Send me your e-mail address and I will send some instructions. Basic
installations is easy. Removing the old covers is simple, but care must be
taken so you don't damage the foam rubber. If yours is beyond repair or
damaged to the extent it can't be used, just go to a local upholstery
warehouse to get some foam rubber. Save the old stuff so you can have some
idea of what it's supposed to be. The covers I have made up come with foam
rubber sewn on in inside so if it has shrunk some these will fit nicely.
Yes, they are hog ringed in place. You will have to remove the wires from
the bottom of the back and bottom edges, they are easy to put into the new
ones. Once the old seat covers are removed you can restore the seat frame
by sanding and painting it. And, if your seat still has the rubber bottom
in it, that same upholstery warehouse will have webbing material to change
it out with.

You could also take the covers to shop and have the seats rebuilt. I
took a motorcycle seat cover for my Triumph to a shop and they made
new foam and installed the cover for only $15.00. The shop I use is
Ray's Upholstery in Watsonville Ca.
They also made minibike seats for us from scratch for only $25ea,
wood/foam/vinyl. I had a custom seat covers made for Dinky in grey
with red piping. Dinky only had the back seat but I had lengthened
the back seat pan to match the contour. The pair cost me $250.00.
Expect to pay $300ea seat if you go from scratch, get Bill's seat
covers and you will be way ahead.
