I put another recording of my Coupe's noisy engine on my website. I recorded the Coupe going from a standing start to 4th gear, ending in a 3500 rpm cruise. The sound is here:

Hi Steven;
It sure has the ring of a rod, but I wouldn't hold out for the lower end, it may be the upper end of the rod.
But the best bet is the rod.
