Opinions on a survivor
Hello everyone,
I would like your opinion about what to do with a survivor car. My Honda 600 Coupe is basically a survivor, it was -painted and the seat panels have been replaced. Otherwise it is all original.
When the car was painted they did not paint the engine compartment and it is very faded.
So, should I repaint the engine compartment and add the replica decals, or should I keep it as original as possible?
Thanks,

I say do what you like with the car, what makes you happy. When you sell it and the
next owner wants to restore it to original then let them pay for the upgrades. Your car has been repainted so it's not as desirable
as an all original car unrestored example.

Make "sympathetic enhancements" that sustain its overall originality & enjoy driving/showing as often as you can. There is a strong market (when/if) you choose to sell some day for: a) high-quality survivors, b) enhanced drivers & c) fully restored cars. Often the selling prices are very similar. Most importantly, just ENJOY your unique bit of HONDA history. [If your z600 is GREEN, I'd be interested in buying it!!!)

I probably will never sell this car, I promised the guy I bought it from that when I die my ashes will be put in the ashtray. Sorry, it's not green it's blue. But I know what you mean, I have never seen a green 600.
