cable order on rectifier

Post by eric.geiger »

I noticed while working on my car today that a bunch of the insulation on the 3 cables coming out the one side of my rectifier is missing and the cable ends seem to have touched and arced out a bit.
Im gonna replace all the cable ends to solve that but my question is this, "is there an order that the 3 cables coming out the one side plug into the engine or can they go in any order?" i labeled them when i pulled them off but i don't know if they were ever correct to begin with.  i never had any charging issues but i just want to be certain when i put everything back together.
Thanks Eric
