Hi everyone
I am new to this group and this is my first Honda. 2/17/13 I pulled home a 72 coupe and I am trying to figure out what to do with it. It is a 1 owner with 85000+ miles on it. It has been sitting since 1983 outside so over time rats, water, and other things have been inside of it. The passenger floor pan is pretty much gone. The driver side has some soft spots, under the back seat is solid. I have posted a few pics. My question is should I try to put it back on the road or part it out.Look for a yellow coupe in the photo section poster name beauclary more photos to come.
Thanks Beau

Re: 1972 Honda 600 Coupe
Welcome
It all kinda depends on what you are capable of. Can you do the medal work that needs to be done? If the pans are bad you most likely have other rust problems. The Motor. That can get very expensive if it needs a crank and other parts. so I guess it is what you are willing to put in it. I think Bill has put together a list of things to do before you turn the engine over to see if it starts. I am not sure where it is here but I am sure some one will chime it on that, I would follow that to the letter.
you should also check out 2cylinderhondas forum, between the two there is so much information and an immense amount of help.
Where are you at? maybe some one close by can help. There seems to be more and more 600s hitting the road all over the place so good luck on your car!
