Creative Hot Rod Honda AN 600

Post by Mark P Hatten »

Today was the annual PTW spring classic. It's a show that kicks off the car show season. I was excited to finally see Bryce's AN 600. This 1970 Honda N 600 was built by Bryce and company here in Portland Or. as a GRM 2011 contender ( the builder must prove the car cost $ 2011. or less to compete in the Grass Roots motor sports race series) He shipped it to Florida to compete.
The engine is a Fuel Injected Honda 1600 cc (NON VTEC) turbocharged out of a 1993 Civic, 5 speed, REAR wheel drive. Wheels are 7.5 lb 13" Civic VX. Nice little car ! I estimate the engine makes 130-150 hp. does not appear intercooled. This car was a lot of work, rumor has it, this car was completed start to finish in less than 6 months.
