The "oil filter kit" is part # 06154-551-505. If they tell you the part # is wrong tell him to try anyway.
Type of oil? Nothing special (I use 15w50) but I understand you should get an oil that is NOT eco-friendly. There is a round emblem on the front of all oil containers; get one that does NOT have anything written around the bottom half. Hopefully someone else here can be a little more authoritative....
