O-rings Viton

Post by lyletrudell »

Everybody is buying single o-rings, we need to get together on this.
I measured all the old o-rings and the o-ring grooves and have all the sizes, being a machinist I like measuring things! :)
I bought 25-50 Viton O-rings because they are real cheap that way.
I have all the o-rings for the carb and manifold.
I also have a few o-rings for the brake booster assembly.
They fit and are Viton so they will last in our alcohol fuel.
If anyone wants to buy my extras let me know.

Just email me.
I guess I could just put them in an envelope.
Have got a lot of good info from the 2 clubs, so just my way of helping out.

I'm sure we all appreciate the offer of the O-rings but why not post all of the measurements in one message.  That would really be helpful.

Good idea, if you can get a good close up view of the carb parts and the brake booster. Then we can put it in the database for everyone to see were all the orings go and what size they are.

Dale, brought up that maybe the 72 coupe booster "might" use different O-rings than an early sedan?
So until we figure out if all the O-rings are the same, this carb/booster O-ring kit will be for a 1972 coupe.
I will be sending O-rings to Dale, hopefully he can try them on a sedan for fit.
Want everyone to be happy.
