I finally got the 600 running pretty good. I think. Now I need a
trained ear to listen to it. I do not hear any knock and lifters sing a
tune. Too loud--I don't know.
The idle set screw must be messed up because it won't screw in or out. Had
to adjust the double nut deal on the cable. Wish I had an idle solenoid.
hint hint...
Now back to brakes again. Still don't have rear brakes figgered out.
Fluid is getting
to rear wheel [driver side] But does not come out the cross over line hole.
I have that line off and it is open. Does that mean the wheel cylinder is
not moving?
My thanks to Dale and Zay for their help on the carb. I did use the
warm water
treatment with help from carb cleaner and compressed air.
Gonna try to get a friend that is a pretty good mechanic, when you can
get him,
to come out and listen and adjust carb. Thanks guys.
