Okay so I am going to take off my master cylinder and clean it up. In
the mean time I have been reading the posts on the brake fluid.
Should I replace the usual with synthetic? What steps do I need to
take and do I need to replace seals or anything? Thanks in advance
for advice.

Synthetic brake fluid
Re: Synthetic brake fluid
Hi Bill Penney;
I have an article on converting your brake system to silicone fluid on the
ANZhonda600 group site. Is it better? You will have to decide this for your
self. I have vehicles that have silicone fluid in them for over 30 years
without changing it. You can't use it with Antilock systems, it can give a
softer peddle, but I have not noticed the difference.
