Engine rebuils

Post by club_hondafr »

Is anyone doing/offering complete engine rebuilds, or
rebuilt engines on the west coast (I see on your web
site that you might be, Miles)? I have my engine
almost out of the car. Just need to find jack stands
tall enough to get the body over the sub :)
Thanks

Short jackstands works fine.  Get a 4x4 and run it just behind the firewall with the jackstand on each side.

Be aware that at some point in this procedure (I suppose while engine is
still attached) you may find that the car is balanced on the 4x4, and may
want to tip FORWARD. Perhaps when I did it the jacks were further back...
anyway, watch for it.
