Hi there
I posted some pictures of my cool ride for Bill's online car show. I'm
under modified - sedan, there's another nice sedan under modified -
coupe.

Hi Miles.
A beautiful car. I looked at one with a trailer, is that yours? You said the trailer only weighed 200lbs. My 600 only weighed 1150lbs. ...
I noticed the white roof on the car. I painted my car white on the roof, I think, unless every 600 comes with a white roof... nowadays I do paint my cars' roofs white. My Plymouth, my Toyota, and a couple of CVCCs were once painted white while under my ownership. Easy to find in a Safeway parking lot.
My old 600s were licensed CGA-779 and CFG-387. Do these plates ring anyone's bell? I'd sort of like to know where my old cars went to after our adventures in driving together.

Bill, should the number stamped in the firewall match
the chassis number on the id plate? Mine does not.
I don't have the numbers in front of me or I would
send them to see if you have them on record. I'll try
to rember to do that tonight.

Hi Jason;
On the AN and AZ 600 Sedans and Coupes the chassis numbers on the ID plate
and the numbers stamped on the body just in front of the Air Box should
match. There will also be a small plate just behind the windshield (Drivers
Side) and a small black plate below the drivers side striker. All of these
areas should match the chassis. Then engine will be different but should
match the engine number stamped in the ID plate.

That is what I suspected. It appears that I have the
removable plates/tags from one car but the chassis and
engine of another car. This is what I have:
Drivers door plate: ANXXX-XXX-XXXX
Stamped into firewall: ANXXX-XXX-XXXX
Passenger front wing plate:
Chassis: ANXXX-XXX-XXXX
Engine: AN600E-1511982
Dash plate: ANXXX-XXX-XXXX
Actual Engine No.: AN600E-1511982
Please let me know if you have any record of them.
I'm interested to know if the engine and chassis are
matching irregardless of the existance of incorrect
plates/tags.
