ignition
Re: ignition
Are you looking for an electronic ignition for the n600?
We modified the optical ignition pickup/sensor (Crane I think) from a V8 to fit inside the ignition holder. Then added an MSD box, and used a round disk that only had 2 slits in it (as opposed to eight) to trip the box. Timing was by swag, but we got it right on pretty quick.
No mech. advance, but you really don't need that. The modification required some minor welding, a hole saw (drill bit), plus some polycarbonite (sp?) and some wiring. The ignition worked fine well above 7500 RPM - but then either your stock cam/carb or valves can't keep up with much more anyway.
If there is interest I'll post some pics after Bonneville.

Yes, please do. It sounds interesting.
