My trip to LA area was pretty good. In San Luis Obispo a quick tune-
up on John's 1971 Coupe, though wheel-less runs well. I met up with
Jason H. of Lompoc and dropped him some coupe doors. I tried to
connect with the Mini Guy in Ventura, but missed him twice. Walter
Dimmock and I took his restored sedan out of the dealer's showroom
and drove it around Simi Valley. Michael B. was my next stop in
Redondo, he has 2 1/2 coupes and owns Sight Right Optical, he fixed
my glasses and I dropped off another coupe door. I wished I could
have met up with Tim Mings & Kathleen W., but time ran out.
I was just watching the old TV show, CHiPs on TV, it's the one where
car theives are stealing Rolls Royces. Outside a Rolls showroom, a
600 sedan appears for about 20 seconds.
