making a Coupe's hatch look it's best

Post by mterrens »

Does anyone have any suggestions for making a black Coupe hatch look it's best?  Paint?  Polish?  Wax?
Armor-all?  Something else?  Mine is physically OK but somewhat dull from many years in the sun.
Thanks!

Hi Steve;
    Yes, I use the SEM original trim paint which closely matches the original color.  Note the attached picture.

Yo! dat SEM Bumper Coater is da bomb. I sandblast all my rubber lens
gaskets which removes overspray paint, flaky rubber and then paint
them with the Flexible Bumper Coater. I also fill the cracks in my
Dashboards then paint them with the same stuff. Betsy H. can tell us
how it hold up in the GA. weather! Works good in Cali. Stuff is
pricey at the paint store, K-Mart won't have it. Costs around $8.00
can.
