'71 Z600 Coupe For Sale in CA-Photos posted

Post by doug3742 »

Greetings all, I'm selling a nice original unrestored California Z600 Coupe. It's
orange with black interior. Strong runner. Paint and interior have some flaws,
but it wouldn't take much to make this one great! $2250. Located in Santa
Barbara, CA.
I can email more photos if interested. I plan on putting it on ebay in a few
days if There is no interest here.
I also have a very large group of 600 mechanical parts including a freshly
rebuilt complete engine. $1000 for all. This group would be difficult to crate
and expensive to ship, so hopefully the buyer can pick up!
Thanks, Mark Mitchell motorama@...

Mark,
I see your auction is going well - that's great!
Question: I never read that the Coupe was referred to as the "baby". Did
Honda call it that in it's literature?
"...The original boxy N600, was soon followed by a much more stylish and
sporty looking Z600 Coupe, which was nicknamed the "Baby". This second and
more desireable type is offered for auction here...."

Baby & Mileage

Post by Steve »

I never heard it nicknamed anything but *The Shoe*.
The best mileage I ever got was 56 mpg, driving south in a sedan on
Hiway 5 @ 50mph. I was driving to San Diego Ca. from Santa Clara Ca.
Around town mileage I get/got is 30mpg. I drive my 600's hard.
