M.P.H. vs R.P.M.

Post by riceburner006 »

I have to agree with Bill on the subject of revs increasing W/O
inccreasing the speed of car. The only way I can see this happening
is if your clutch is slipping! One time,my revs were higher than
usual, but is was because the primary drive rubber cuschions were
totally shot!

well, sometimes ( and i am in no way accusing anyone) people will believe what they want when spending money on a car part. yes the plugs probably helped the old honda, however like a k& n filter you cannot tell a seat of the pants differeance. yes it may be better one paper and so are some exausts but noise make people think that they got more power. That said im sure on our old hondas most anything will help as to the drop in RPM? beats the hell outa me. heck it probably did drop it. i guess im saying that if you put parts on a car that you spent $$$ on sometime you may want to believe it cause of the money. If some one bought a new car and spent 45K and got a lemon would they tell anyone? no. sorry if i make anyone mad but its true. as for the old hondas they probably can be helped alot.
ok enough from me.
