I built a Z600 engine about five years ago with a new crankshaft, 1.00 mm
pistons, hawaiian head, camshaft, and exhaust, milled weight off the
flywheel, ported the intake side of the head. This engine would turn 6800 rpm
all day with out a problem and is still running strong today. In the works is
a engine with new crankshaft, high lift cam, ported and polished hawaiian
head on both intake and exhaust ports, lightened flywheel, 40mm carb, KN air
filter, electric cooling fan, colford oil cooler with temp gauge. This engine
has 1.00mm oversize high dome pistons, I'm sure this engine will run over 100
MPH!!! anybody want to ride with me, oh yea it also will have nos with
the proper set up installed.

Mike, I'd be interested to hear how you fit an electric fan. Do you mount it
at the front of the engine, behind the grill, or rig up a motor to the
original fan assy?

I will be more than happy to hold the stopwatch to check the 100 mph provided you don't get too close to me as you go by.
