questions

Post by minidrum69 »

Hey guys and gals,
Is there an aftermarket air filter (K&N prefered) that fits the carb?
Also.... Below the vent that is right in front of the windshield on
the driver side (Where the info plate is under the hood) has
rusted through and water comes gushing through. Is there
supposed to be something there to catch or divert water?
I am thinking about importing wheels from Watanabe and
Hayashi in Japan. But I need to know if there is enough interest
from the 600 community to do this.
Thanks
Ryan

I have an aquaintenance at Sears Point Ca. area who is building a
high Perf engine. He told me the gutted a stock air filter and
adapted Porsche K&N filter material to the stock mesh & ends. You
practically have to burn the old filter off the assembly, that glue
is tough stuff.
Water Problem: Why not glass over the rusted area, there is nothing
to divert water as the Honda 600 was a *throw away* car with a
planned 5 year life, guess they messed that one up, huh?
