Z CV joint

Post by honda72z600 »

Now the driver side CV joint is starting to go, wen I turn it goes clink
clink clink only if I give it some gas turning. I am going to need a
Carburetor rebuilt kit a CV joint and I need to find Y some time she don't
want to start.
and I can't find a mechanic to work on it.
I guest I have to learn how to do it my self.
Oh well

Tell me about it! I spotted this place in Palo Alto
called "The Honda Small Car Shop" I was parked nearby
so i thought I'd stick my head inside and ask if they
knew anything about the 600's. Now this seems like a
reasonable question to a shop with such a name, you
know, it's always good to have more contacts for our
little cars. They looked at me like I offered to take
a dump on the counter for free if they want, then went
into the back where uproarious laughter ensued. Yes,
indeed we asre pretty much on our own, unless we want
to tow it over to Miles (90 minutes away from me).
Anyway the Honda factory manual isn't bad. get some
good tools and don't tourque too tight!
