Places that rebuild batteries can either cut down the large posts or
pour new posts of the smaller size. There is 3 sizes of batteries
that fit nicely into the tray. Group 45 which is the same physical
size as used in most Civics from '73 up. NF22 which is same size as
the 45 but has the posts toward the holddown bracket, can easily
short out and the Group 60 which is smaller than the 45 (I hope my
memory is correct with the Group 60 number!). The 60 is smaller and
looks like it would also fit in the S600/800 tray.
