Parts wanted

Post by cl21977 »

Ha! Three posts in a row! I'm on a roll....
Anyone know where I might find those two rubber strips that run
along the top of the Z600? I think they have chrome ends, but I'm not
for certain. Mine are rotted and missing chunks.
Also, I've seen a few pics on the net of the coupe rear
window... is there some kind of trim that goes around the outside of
the glass? It would cover up the glue holding the glass in place. The
pics aren't very big or clear, so I can't tell if that's what I'm
seeing or no. My rear hatch has a screw there like it would hold
something down, but no trim. If such a thing exists, I'm looking for
one of those as well.
Miles, or Mike, or anyone else, any ideas?

Re: Parts wanted - Hatch Trim

The coupe rear hatch's rear glass was sealed into the frame in
plastic chrome channel that was placed on the glass then the whole
thing glued into place, it was never an option to buy the glass or
trim seperately. Glue your glass in then get some 1/2" chrome rubber
side body molding that has the sticky back and trim your window with
that.
Contact Bill C. about the roof strips, I think he has some info on
that.
