Making your carb operate like it should is cleaning, replacing the hard and cracking O-rings and Accelerator pump. If your O-rings are hard as a rock then the diaphragm on your accelerator pump is most likely the same.

Do you have a picture of the finished product accel pump diaphragm? I have several cores but could never find a suitable donor diaphragm from another car or motorcycle.
