I use Cowles stick on chrome moldings from AutoZone I believe it's 1/2 inch width and will accept the original molding connectors

I looked at the Cowles chrome molding that Bill suggested and that looks like a good solution.

Remember that if it is Mylar product it will turn yellow in the sunlight.

It might eventually yellow,but I've had crowles moldings on one of my cars for 4 years and still looks new

There are usually some on eBay. If you dont see any listed, contact one of the breakers on eBay and they will help you out.
