Re: EBAY LISTING????
Yes, I know him and have done business with him. In my experience, he is honest and fair. If he has something to sell that I want, I dont hesitate with my order.

Just a note of caution when purchasing anything from e-bay or other on line source that says it fits both the Sedan and Coupe.
Honda built these cars with changes happening often and sometimes from month to month.
These are noted in the Parts manual and associated with chassis numbers or engine numbers and some have superseded numbers or are marked wrong.
Case in point – the cam box for a Sedan will bolt onto a Coupe motor but the Coupe valve cover will not bolt onto the Sedan cam box.
Another is the Sedan early non-synchro transmission speedometer gear is not correct for the later full synchro transmission.
Will it fit, yes, but the speedometer will read wrong.
And on and on, so looking at the correct part for the correct engine is simple if you have the chassis, engine and date of manufacture numbers available for the car your working on.
I like to refer to it as breaking the code.
Parts manuals are available on line at Steve’s Honda 600 Coupe WEB site -
http://www.honda600coupe.com/Manuals,_b ... ments.html
Many of the sellers either don’t know or don’t care enough to do the necessary home work to make sure the parts they are selling really do fit the car you have.
There are some of us that have very early parts manuals and will help if you think the part is not going to fit your car.

Re: EBAY LISTING????
Bill Colford has recommended a brake rebuilder in the past. I thought it was the master cylinder. The one which Ray Cave is selling seems expensive. Who did the rebuild? I would probably go with the person Bill was recommending since that seems to be his speciality and he does top notch work (according to Bill). And the price is probably the same.
good luck,

Re: EBAY LISTING????
I have been talking to White Post Restorations http://www.whitepost.com/brake.html in the past weeks and they are saying that they will not rebuild the Booster. But they will resleeve the three bores in brass and get the piston resurfaced for us to the booster. They will still do the front calipers, rear cylinders and the proportioning valve with a written lifetime warranty. I am looking at making the early and later booster diaphragm but I really need to know if there is a need.

Re: EBAY LISTING????
Yes bill I do think there is a need. Mine is still good but will it be tomarrow. If you can make them at a price that we can afford that would be great... maybe sell to white post too.
