Honda n600 0-60 mph Disaster

Post by Mark P Hatten »

Hi Richard,
The Honda 600's rev up good like any good Honda should. They have 37 hp. with roller crank bearings and a overhead camshaft.  This one has straight pipe exhaust. They stop making power at 7500-8000 rpm due to point float. Oh how I wish there was a Pertronix  Electronic Ignition kit available.
Why there is no electronic Ignition kits for the Honda 600's I am totally dumbfounded

Well that was dramatic. Nice car though. How are you getting 8k rpm? The bullet mirrors must contribute a lot to the smooth ride.

Mark, you can't trust suction cups unless you GREASE the surface - that REALLY makes them stick - dry just doesn't work that well!  And how about putting a piece of duct tape over the card door??  At least then you'd have the video.
