I get really excited bringing and old car back to life. This poor 1970 N600 was picked over as a parts car to keep another N 600 on the road for many years. Why it got put away is unknown. At least this particular N600 was stored in dry storage, with a city view no less, and, get this.....It has SOLID floors!. Oh my gosh ! I replaced most of the essential needed picked off parts. Cleaned the fuel tank, rebuilt the starter, changed the oil, unstuck the fuel pump, replaced the belt, plugs points, and added a battery. Rebuilt the carb. Surprisingly it fires right up, Unfortunately, there is something wrong with the clutch and shifter. UGH , always something.

Tom The clutch disc was rusted solid to the pressure plate with welded fingers.
