shot gun pin hole gas tank

Post by Mark P Hatten »

Yep, I got me a shot gun pin hole gas tank !. I  tried cleaning the rust from this original Honda Z600 tank.  This car sat for many years in a field and I should have figured.  I put 250 miles on this car before signs of rust started to show in the fuel filters. When I figured out rust was the only thing holding the tank together, I abandoned it. I ended up buying a used tank in much better shape.  Onward ho!

That is what my gas tank looked like when I got my car.  I tried to do the cleaning and all but there was just to many holes in it.  I ended up sending it out to get repaired and lined.  I hope your honda makes it to the car show this year
