Im trying to figure out why Your so avid about wanting to put a new hood and fender on unless theres more damage that Your pictures and the video doesnt show. Unless theres something more there than just the small corners im pretty sure almost anyone would deal with the original metal before replacing them. Of course i respect that its Your car. Just hard to understand-Tim

I totally understand where you are coming from.  The reason I'm looking for a new hood and fender is because I want to keep it all original paint as long as possible.
Once I do paint work its not original anymore, and a car is only original once.    Im sure at some point in the future I will have the entire car blasted or dipped and completely restored from the bottom up but until then my goal is to keep it as original as possible and not have to do body work.

I agree with Victor and Time.  Repair it.  Not just because it won't be too difficult to repair it, but because I really doubt you're going to find a hood and fender in that color and also in good condition.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are some fenders and hoods out there in great condition that are also that color, but they're probably attached to a car that is also still in good condition and it would be silly to remove them.

I believe he is looking for original green painted parts with original paint that he can bolt on without having to try to paint match.
