New to group looking for a 600 coupe

Post by ek9ctr »

Hey all I just found this group. I'm 30 years old and my father had a blue 72 600 coupe. I came across a picture of me when I was about 1-2yrs old sitting in it yesterday and have decided to take one on as a project. I'm still in the beginning stages but have been reading up lots. If anyone has any leads on one for sale let me know color isn't important but I would prefer blue. Looking for something already running preferably with minimal rust but plan on doing a full tear down restoration.
Thanks
Eric

Welcome to the Group Eric;
There are a few up for sale and there are lots of Honda 600 owners ready to lend their assistance.

is there any place specifically on the group page to look for ones that are for sale or is it just word of mouth mostly?

Hi Eric,
I have two '72 Coupes in storage in Montana. Orange one has nice body, fairly complete. Engine questionable-- kid I bought it from got lost in a cam timing issue, I believe. Blue one is beat to crap, but ran well when I parked it. I've been waiting for the right place to merge them into one good one, but won't have that kind of garage space for the foreseeable future. Let me know if you might be interested in one or both. Have Xerox copy of old shop manual, and some spare parts. Six new (stored, never roaded) Kumho tires.
Thanks,
Lee Gwin

How much would you take for the blue one? I have a blue one in OK I am restoring. Do you have any pictures?
