My coupe is coming along good.
All rust areas repaired and primed.
Painted "Pop orange" the engine compartment, all inner areas of the hood, doors, spare tire door, valance, front grille.
Primed, painted and then coated the underneath and inner wheel wells with bed liner.
Everything is cleaned, repaired and re-plated. Dash, wiring & all cables, steering, brakes, brake booster, rear axle, horn, wiper assembly are back in. Gas tank cleaned and coated, new fuel lines and pump. Seats re-covered. Yep, I spent way more time than I wanted to, but it will look like it rolled off the showroom floor.
Waiting for some parts to come back from plating, before I take the car off the rotator and put the engine in. Then off to the paint booth!!!
*Need some help figuring out how the hood release handle mounts in the car, my was broken and laying on the floor. Where does it go?
*Need carpet also?
I will start reading the posts and manual about installing the engine, been awhile since I pulled it.
I will post some picture soon.
