Wow, I don't see how it could drive a compressor from the 70's.
The new ones are smaller and draw less HP, but loosing 5-7HP can't be good when you only have 36.
I will stick with a fan and rolling the windows down.

Brad, good thought insulating the blower. I want the car to be as stock looking as possible. So whatever I do will be easily removed.
I can't beleive putting the heater intake hose to the grille hasn't been done before, simple to do.
Summer is getting close!
