Click here to see the ad.  Notice the ad has "Allison" spelled "Alison"    In the 1970s,  Allison would have been the more common spelling for a young lady.  Alison would have been an alternate spelling for a small child named by her hippie parents who engaged in communal living (e.g. the Love Family).  Or maybe it would have been Ali Sun  (and named after Ali McGraw from Love Story).
So which ones are Tammy, Michelle, and Alison?  And what are the names of the other ladies?
And which state is the license plate (286 BSP).  Did California have plates in 1972 which started with 3 numbers?
Finally,  in the early 1970s,  young ladies were called "chicks".   The "babe" term came later (and was popular in an earlier time).
enjoy your 600,
Dale

Yes, that looks like a blue and yellow CA plate which would have started with 3 numbers followed by 3 letters.  Late 1969 was the changeover year from the coveted black & gold plates, which started with 3 letters followed by 3 numbers.
Since the DMV issued the plates more or less in alphanumeric order, that plate (286 BSP) with letters starting with B should be on a 69-70 or maybe a 71 model year car.  72 is stretching it, but certainly possible.

They came as a set.  No idea which one is which, so i'd suppose it'll be left to right.
Yes, chick is the correct term for that time.
However, the ad itself appeared in several magazines, the one I know for sure is May 72 Playboy.
