I am now working on the door area and the weatherstripping around the door which is completly rotton. I have asked before and was told JC whitney has some that will work but do not know which would be the best. So i am asking the pros here what they have used. This is what i am looking at but i noticed the bottome is not a slide on, so what would be the best.. http://www.jcwhitney.com/PUSH-ON-TRIM-W ... _10101.jcw
Looks like most is on sale now so what to jump on this.
thanks for any info.

Re: WeatherStripping
Tom,
I've used #2, (#132561) on my sedan.
Absolutely perfect for pop out windows, and good for the doors with the exception of the bottom. A little bit of wrestling is required where the metal flange has that small 90 degree turn to the inside. ...... but very doable!
...and #3 (810162) in the catalog, works great for the trunk hatch .....and leaves you a little left over to coushin other misc. points of contact that you'd like to soften the blow on
GL, Dan
Check this Utube video and see the weatherstrip in action ;)

Re: WeatherStripping
Tom, I tool #2 and #3 from the link you provided. The photos matched the catalog, as did the part number - with the exception of the prefix.
#2, WW132651 in the catalog - and similar, #9 WW143539 - same size, w/o vinyl.

Re: Weather-Stripping
All;
A few tips when giving out numbers from J.C. Whitney numbers. Give the catalog number along with the number you are quoting. In the case of the Door Weather stripping - I use type #3, listed as a Half Bulb for Trucks, # XS 132562 the round one seems to be harder on the doors. And, when putting it in place the vinyl trim will need to be crimped in place with a pliers or vice grip and 3 or 4 inch long by 1 inch wide metal bar on each side to make it a clean crimp. Number XS 127121 is a stick on weather strip that will work along the lower edge and on the spare tire door. I use XS 184879 in the window channels. in catalog number 728J-07.
I have found nothing that will replace the front and rear windshield seals on the Sedan, or the front windshield seal on the Coupe and hold the chrome lock strip. Or the Coupe rear hatch seal. So I have them made.

Re: Weather-Stripping
Hi Bill,
For the front and rear windshiled seals. Do you have them manufactured or does a custom glass shop piece them together? Do you sell?
