Hello,
I bought a '72 AN600 in Jan. ($1000.00) and in the process of
restoring it. The car is in bad shape from sitting outside for the
last 20yrs. The owner said he had a mechanic puts in lots of new
parts for the replaced engine before park it.
My plan is simple! (hehehe) take it apart down to nuts & bolts
then put it back together. There're two major milestones in my
3yrs project plan which I don't have the skill set to perform:
1. Cut out the rusted parts and patch it - I plan to remove all
the panels and work with one at a time.
2. I'm not a mechanic! - After disassemble the engine, clean and
reinstall it, I'll need help with fine-tune it.
I lost my home last year - yall know why. Although working at a
stable place, I'm stone broke. This project helping me to cope
with all the stress....
PLEASE HELP!
1. I'm looking for an auto body shop within 100 miles of San Jose,
CA. that will patch panels for a decent price, any recommend? I
called several auto to body shop but they don't work on classic
car. I should have the panels remove by June!
2. Too far out - at least 14-16 months out! I will deal with it
later.
Finally!
Any advise(s), guidance(s), commands are greatly appreciate!
Thanks in advance for your time
