All;
   3M has a product called Windo-Weld, part number 51135 08612, it is a Ribbon Sealer Auto Glass Replacement Kit.
I still have some from a kit I purchased in 2001, cost then was $11.00 for 15 feet by 3/8 inch thick.
    You have to clean the glass really good, I use a silicone primer and clean the plastic on the hatch and I use a product called Grows Super Clean, to clean the plastic.   Then lay out the windo-weld and set the glass in it.  And your done.  Some like to put a U shaped rubber seal around the glass before placing it on the hatch but they still had to use the windo-weld on the back side and edge for a good fit.
