engine seized??
I spoke to the original owner of my 72 AZ600 and he said the belt came off and the motor got hot and seized up. He said it had a cracked piston. I got it after he parked it 18 years and got it to start but it hammers real loud. Does anyone know where I can get the parts to rebuild it or another engine. I need to pull the engine and see how bad it realy is

Re: engine seized??
Robert,
You might want to refrain from running it at this point. The hammering noise is possibly scratching up the cylinder wall.
