Hello group,
I'm thinking of rolling my z600 out of storage and putting her back on the road. Does anyone know what the average mpg is on the z600? I know stats in magazine say one thing and daily driving tells something else.
Thanks
John

is it missing the gas tank or does it have holes in it? YOU can have it lined or do it your self or send it out to be lined.. There is a lot of people here that has relined thier gas tank. I sent mine out to be done. If you google "renew" that is what i did but it would be cheaper to do it your self. If you need a tank there was a guy a few months ago that had one, but i dont remember who it was...

Re: fuel mileage
I am the original owner of a 72 sedan and I put 80,000 miles on it. I routinely got 38 MPG around town and anywhere from 42 - 50 on the highway (55 mph speed limit then) depending on how I drove it. Hwy mileage is not as good as you might expect for a mere 600 cc but with just a 4 speed trans the engine really sings at highway speeds.
Hope this helps.
Hope this helps.

Re: fuel mileage
thanks for the details Blake...does anybody know what the published factory specs from Honda were for fuel m.p.g? Even today, I know these numbers never seem to be correct based on the window stickers you find on new cars in a lot, but I think it would be interesting to know.
thanks

Re: fuel mileage
John,
Take a look at the Honda brochure which is being referenced in the paint codes msg. Honda was claiming 40 mpg on the cars using regular gas.
