is the ignition a batch fire? the 2 plugs at once& 1 spark is wasted?if
so why not use a late model G.M. coil which has 2 towers.I will check
the OHMS.& compare.forget the points'what about electronic-pertronic?

Right-o!! You have it figured out. Why not use your GM coil if you know how to do that stuff? Others on this post are trying Accel products and other brands.
What do you know about the GM coil? Does GM publish info on the drive signal for the coil? The Honda 600 coil has a battery, resistor, and points in its path. Doesn't the GM coil see a battery and an ECM in its path. Do you know the input voltage on the coil and do you know what voltage it is outputting? It could be a high energy output.
